Double Hung Windows Or Slider Windows
Answer:Double Hung windows would be the appropriate window choice if your window were taller than it is wider. In other words if the window were more vertical than aseptically the double hung replacement window would be the right fit. These windows also tilt in for cleaning and washing and are very secure.
Conversely, Slider windows are used for opening that are wider than they are tall. "Short and fat" windows are these kind and are more horizontal in dimension. Common sizes are 65 inches wide by 42 inches tall. This would be a two-section slider. If the width were greater than 80 inches than the 3-section slider with a picture window in the middle would be ideal.
